how long until you can smoke the bud with cfls

i was just wondering how long from seed to harvest using cfl's. i know it varies upon nutes and all that other stuff but just on average how long does it take? thanks
 
Depends on medium (aero is fastest, soil is slowest), veg time, & strain. Anywhere from 2 months to 6 months.
 
if things are done right and you flower early, its possible to have your plant cut in 80 days. and still get a fair yield. if you wanna try it id reccomend Buds For Less, its a great book done by one of RIU admins. it takes your straight through the grow. in the book he cut at 69 and nets 3oz of a single magno plant. i got the book late and im following it as close as i can with my grow. im about 6 weeks in and flowerin 12 days today. shes looking good. i dunno if ill get 3 oz's since im just using some high end bagseed but we will see.

it takes me useing (490w) of Cfls
4 weeks vegging
4 weeks flowering
depend on the strain you get some are 9-12 weeks so a extra 4 weeks

so lol 3 months MAX.... where you get 5 from damn if i grow it that long it wont fit in my house.

I did 8 weeks of veg and 10 weeks of flower. I guess thats more like 4 months. Didnt do my math right.

I topped em twice and ended up with a 2ft plant with about 20 colas (grow tips), using about 250w of flouros.

No strainout there is going to be 'actually' ready in 4 weeks of flowering. Even using the most powerful lights. Do you use a microsope to check out the trichs?

Anyway this is what mine looked like at 5 weeks. Then 11 weeks (3 week into flower)

Now it's been almost 15 weeks (8 weeks in to flower) and the buds are fat but not a single trich is cloudy. Not even close to done. I'd give it another 3 weeks (this will make it 11 weeks flowering when I plan to harvest). I dont have pics of it in this stage but will some time this week

I'm not trying to argue or anything but could you point me to a 4 week flowering strain? I'd like to grow that :)

yo 11 weeks and not much diff to the 5 week old one..
ive vegged mine for 4 weeks and mine is near to the size of yours.

It's called perspective. The plant in the first pic is 15" tall. The 2nd pic is 26"

Also note that we are growing very different strains. Yours may be taller at 4 weeks but does that mean it has more biomass? Take a look at the spacing between the nodes and the size of the leaves.

Also can you explain this one to me? How do you know you flowered your plant for 4 weeks when you've been vegging it for 4-5 weeks as of the date of 5-12 (thats when you posted your pic)

And do you remember this quote about your plant?

Indica / sativa
High : 15% +
Flowering time 9-12 weeks

mine has been growing for 4 weeks 6 days .
6 days into flowering.
the quick flowering time was 6 weeks so yh i was wrong kinda
and yh i know its better to go longer in veg but the ladz plant was no more than 20 cm lol there was no bud.
 
Hello everyone im new here 3 days to be exact but from wat ive read you all are very intelligent so with that being said heres my suitation: Im a new grower whos tired of spending pocket cash to stay elevated and im laid off so COST was a big thing here ok so i started out with a closet under my steps its around 5x7 and 6ft high. its under my basement steps so thats the high part it "steps" down to around 3ft i lined the whole room in foil trying not to wrinkle it as best i could again i just took some good badseed i had been saving i just sprouted 10 babies and put them into soil. today i just checked them in there 2 day in soil i have a few sproutings some with leaves now and i have them laying under 4 40w tube cfls i aquired from my now darkk garage. haha i have the temp around 65-68F most of the time and im just wondering if you guys have any pointers or tips i should do anything will help thanks alot.
