How Long to Wait Before Planting/Germinating Bred Seeds

Quick Question... So the seeds had dried, and have been curing in the bud in jars for about 1 month now. Should I wait long or could I germinate some of them if I wanted to now?

I think I read you should wait 2 months somewhere or something? Somewhere else at least 1 month? Is that correct?

You can germinate some now. Seeds are viable once they're mature no need to wait. Do you think breeders wait 2 months before they start testing their crosses? It's just an old myth from outdoor growers because of the cycles of the season so doesn't really apply to indoor growing.

Ummm, its true that mature seeds are viable. However there's a question in regards to germination rate. Lots of seed bearing plants, including cannabis have seed dormancy period. Fresh seeds have low germination rate, a month or 2 old seeds have better germination rate. This point is not valid though if you only want to use a few plants for your personal grow and you don't mind throwing 4-5 times the amount of fresh seeds to germinate.

Tell that to half the breeders throwing out seeds now a days.
