I have clones 2 days planted in a soil medium.........they grew from 3" to about 9" along the way showing some minor yellowing signs of cal-mag deficiency.........i kind of ignored it and transplanted it from solo cups to 5 gallon pots........could i have stunted or screwed up growth cycle by not taking care of this earlier .....i was hoping it was lighting or other issues...........and if i get cal mag into the diet now...........how long does it usually take to return to nice normal vegatative growth.........your advise is appreciated

From what I've read yellowing can be N deficiency if starting from lower bigger leaves, leaves effected can not recover I also recall reading. Cal-mag is not a deficiency as they are separate entity's. Cal can't be corrected in the deficient parts as it's not mobile where as mag is mobile so can be recovered. This is what I've read.. and info has proven inaccurate so don't quote it.

I read bright green leaves was a sign of a N deficiency but then read it's a deficiency. Who knows.

Maybe ph levels are throwing things off?.

If they grew from 3" to 9" in solo cups it's probably hungry. Feeding info and pics would help greatly.
