How long to harvest?

This is my first plant, and I've had it under 12 hours of light for about a month. I know I'm not giving it enough lumens, but I wanted to try it anyways and see what happens. The plant is stretched out and not bushy because of the inadequate lighting, and I've cut off quite a few fan leaves that were shading the buds. Anyways, can someone tell me how much longer I should wait to harvest? Thanks.

yeah i hate to say it, but there is no bud on that plant yet... you really should invest in stronger lighting to make it worth it. otherwise your plant is gonna be producing little to no bud. good luck
 
Whoa, those pics are HUGE.

Anyway, yeah you've got quite a while left. Another 6-8 weeks, probably. Might be able to speed things up a bit if you get more light in there.

I wouldn't say there's "no" bud. There seem to be quite a few bud sites and some fluffy baby buds. There's no smokeable bud yet, for sure, but given time there will be =)
 
man those bus look sweat !
for a first grow....
however the plant look kinda streched and skinny...
but id say give it a month ..... and dont cut any fan leaves yet ..... those are the feeder leaves...
atleast until they look nasty or die.... over all looks good but wont yeild much .....keep us posted
 
Yeah, sorry about the huge pics, but I don't know how to resize them, plus they are more detailed this way, lol. I forgot to ask one other thing... Does this look like an Indica or Sativa? I just grew this from a bag seed someone gave me. Thanks.
 
really really sweet plant .... but like the others have said .... some weeks left if you're gonna let her do her thang ..... my first thought was like up to 8 more weeks? its a pretty .... but very sativa girl .... and she's only just begun.Good luck and Walk on!!~~~~~~
 
Cool... I posted this because I've been seeing more and more of the hairs turn brown, so I just wanted to make sure... Good thing though, because if she was almost ready to harvest then I would end up with a bunch of tiny buds, but hopefully it'll turn out nice.

Oh, and by they way, I've been growing this plant with nothing but a mixture of six 10-23W soft and cool white CFL bulbs and a 4 foot hood with 2 daylight bulbs since the beginning.
