How long till chop?

Hey guys,

Last 2 grows i've chopped a little early and paid the price, want to get it right this time.

My best guess is these girls are at least 2 weeks away from chop, id really appreciate you're input.

My guess not knowing the strain but being indica-dom (typically shorter flowering time) would be 3 weeks minimum. Don't go strictly by the colour of the trichs, wait until the majority of those white "hairs" have turned brown/redish, then check the trichs. Cheers.

Thanks for the reply man, okay I'll leave them 2.5 weeks then check the trichs every day.

Few more q's, how worried should I be about the bit of N deff they are showing at this stage?

Will they continue to fatten up over this time or will the canniboids just ripen in the buds?

That does look like N def on the one at least, if you can give it a bit of a boost it would help as 3 weeks is a long time to go with a def like that.
Typically, the last 2-3 weeks is when they fatten up, those have a lot of fattening up to do in the next couple of weeks, should be a good haul by the time they finish...

Thanks again, theyre on a feed day tomorrow so I'll swap out the bloom for grow and some fishmix this time. They've been on bio grow for the last 4/weeks 2ml per litre as well as some worm casting/banna peel teas

By the looks she is an Indica and about week 6 of flowering. Needs a minimum of 2 more weeks if you don't want them premature, personally I'd push for three.

Also I wouldn't worry about a deficiency that close to harvest.. you're fine.

Weeeeeeeks. Not so much hairs change color. But done when the brownish / orange hairs have receded into the calyx and the calyx then swell up. The trichomes should be turning amber at that point too.

Thanks for all the input, gave them a blast of bio grow today. Will update in 2 weeks, i'm in no rush to harvest so I'll wait as long as it takes.

If it helps the strains are -
2x UK Cheese - Freedom seeds - 5-6 weeks into flower
5x Purple Bud - White Label - 5-6 weeks into flower
1x Pineapple Express - Barneys Farm (1 week younger than the rest, planted 18th August)

I'd say at least 3 - 4 weeks, maybe more. Those are very immature white hairs still.

I agree with all of the above. I usually will clip a small sample to smoke in my vape to try. Usually a couple days and it will vape. Then you know.
