How Long From Start Of Flowering Do The Males Spread Pollen?

So I am about a week into flowering and looks like maybe 80% of my plants are female. I have a few that may look male but im not 100% positive as they look like they might just be leaf buds that haven't opened just yet.

Id like to give the plants some more time to make sure they arn't female, however I don't want those damn footballs to open.

About how long through the flower cycle until the males open and pollinate?

Thanks,

MeMaw

ok Seedlessone, but give me some kind of time frame? After they start showing they take what a week? a month? a year?

I just want to know if I give them another week that they all my females wont have seeds.

outdoor male took like 2 whole weeks outside with out pollen coming out yet, then i let my dog eat it , i'm wondering for indoors

The time period from when you first notice the little "footballs", to the releasing of viable pollen should be at least about 1 1/2 to two weeks....depending on light intensity, genetics and other variables.
Unless you are going to produce some seeds why hang on to any males?

I just want to make sure they arnt males! This is my first time growing and I want to make sure im not tossing away a female..
