How long do the trics take to change color one they start? Is it a fast change, like over a day or two, or longer? Thanks for your help.

Normally it takes about a week for the trichs to go from clear to cloudy. This is taking into consideration that the trics are fully formed. The clearer trics produce a cleaner more up "high". For a more balanced high go for 80-90% cloudy 10-20% clear. And for full "stone" look for 80-90% cloudy 10-20% amber. My rule of thumb is if they look ready, wait a week. Hope this helps!

I agree. There's no timer on trichromes changing color.
