How long do orders take from PPS?

Hey everyone!

I just got my license a few days ago and have submitted an order to health canada for seeds and dried marijuana, and just wanted to know roughly what the turnaround time is to receive the shipment? I e-mailed my order in and paid by credit card.

Thanks!

Don't get the weed from Health Canada, its fucking gross.

Also don't buy their seeds, buy from attitude or something and get quality genetics.

So I've heard!

But for "appearances sake", I placed a minimum order with them. I do have better seeds left over from Attitude's 420 promo earlier this year, and have got some going.

Strange though, I've been doing some reading and while the general consensus is HC's stuff is garbage, I did find a thread (from like 2002), saying there was a time where people were saying it is too potent. http://forum.grasscity.com/seasoned-tokers/5375-official-pots-not-bad-its-too-potent-grower-says.html I don't know if they've actually changed anything over time.

I also found this:

A screenshot from Priarie Plant System's Website of a package of dried marijuana (or seeds). I find it funny that if you zoom in on the label, it seems that there is 8% of "everything" in it. THC, CBD CBN. That seems to be incorrect in my mind, I've never heard of weed that has that much CBD or CBN in the same quantity as THC. Weird.

hey man, pls tell us how it went.. wait time is a big concern I had, look how long its taking them to get cards out. A pic would be nice if u can so we can see what it looks like. I mean if it does the trick and the quality is consistent, i may do some small orders. But if what most people say is true i'd rather learn from your mistake :)

Hey there,

Just wanted to let you know I haven't fallen off the earth or anything lol. I was away when my order was delivered so I'm working that out right now. I'll be updating with pics and info soon! But so far I ordered around Dec 14th, and delivery was attempted on the 30th.

Hello everyone!

Okay, so I received my order from Plant Prairie Systems. I ordered 30 seeds plus 5 grams. The 5 grams comes pre-ground in a golden re-sealable pouch.

As for a smoke report, the smell of this stuff is unusual. It's not a skunky smell, it's not a fruity smell. It's more like a tame "veggie" type smell. Hard to describe, my wife (who doesn't smoke) says it smells like vegetables - weird, but anyways. Loaded up a pipe and smoked a bowl it wasn't bad at all. A little harsh, but not overly. As for the high, I found it more sativa-like, up in your head. It's a calm high, but it's apparent and lasts for a few hours.

I was actually quite impressed with the stuff. I smoke everyday and smoke often, and after a bowl and a half, I stopped and was STONED. I find that this helps my anxiety, and severe depression quite nicely, although it doesn't do much for muscle and nerve pain (which having CP, I also deal with)

Maybe they're just running a good batch right now? I dunno, but I'm gonna get some seeds going and see what the plant is like. :)

So there ya go, some insight. tc :)

Here's a little more about HC/PPS's "marihuana" supply...

http://hc-sc.gc.ca/dhp-mps/marihuana/supply-approvis/index-eng.php

  • Physical Identity : Dried and milled Cannabis sativa spp. dark green to light green and tan coloured Flowering Heads plant particulates with characteristic aroma having citrus and pine overtones
  • Pesticides: Absent
  • Foreign Materials: Stalks, insects and other vermin are absent
  • Moisture content : Approx 14% w/w
  • Chemical Identity: Cannabinoids profile (delta-9 THC, delta-9-THC-acid, CBD, CBG, CBN, CBC)
  • Potency: Total THC content (delta 9-THC and delta-9-THC acid): 12.5 ± 2%
  • Potency of related substances: CBD < 0.5%
  • Metals and heavy metals: Arsenic <0.14 µg/kg b.w./day*; Cadmium <0.09 µg/kg b.w./day*; Lead <0.29 µg/kg b.w./day*; Mercury <0.29 µg/kg b.w./day*; Reports for Aluminium, Antimony, Barium, Beryllium, Bismuth, Calcium, Chromium, Cobalt, Copper, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Molybdenum, Nickel, Phosphorus, Selenium, Silicon, Silver, Strontium, Thallium, Tin, Titanium, Vanadium and Zinc.
  • Microbiological purity
    • Total Aerobic and Anaerobic counts: < 100 CFU/g
    • Enumeration of Coliforms < 3 MPN/g
    • E. Coli: Absent
    • Enumeration of Yeasts and Moulds: < 100 CFU/g
  • Aflatoxins B1, B2, G1, G2 and ochratoxin A: <20 µg/kg (ppb) of substance
As soon as I saw the low THC/CBD levels I started looking for other legal routes to obtain MMJ.

My wife finds that heavy indicas help with appetite/pain the most and a 12.5% sativa just isn't going to cut it. When I mentioned CBD to her doctor he had no idea what I was talking about. It's rather unfortunate that the medical establishment in Canada (form our experience) knows so little about cannabis.
