how long do i hang the buds?

lookd at the plant 2day nd tha buds were shriveled up so we cut em of nd now there hanging from string. only 2 buds were shriveled. how long shud i hav them hangin before i start puttin them in jars nd paper bags to dry?

to hang until the stem snaps instead of bends. Then jar and cure.
