How long can it go on?

Ok, here's a question or two...

I've got a clone that's roughly 2 an a 1/2 months old, can't use the room that I had originally built as it's taken down now. (Some of you will already know that under certain circumstances, I had to destroy over 30 plants a few months back)
I have this plant that now sits on my window, inside. It's nearly 2ft high. I'm relying on the natural sunlight to make it grow at the mo.

How long will my plant keep growing?
Can I grow it continuously?
Will it just grow and grow or will it flower soon?
What feed can I give it?

Thanks in advance...:blsmoke:

it depends on whether or not you live in the northern or southern hemisphere. if you live in the northern hemisphere, the shortening of the days will trigger flowering. that is as long as you are providing the plant with TOTAL darkness.

It just sits on the window behind the net curtains, gets sunlight from outside and also the darkness from the night, but not complete darkness. Will it just keep growing like a normal pot plant (excuse the pun:mrgreen:) if I don't give it the 12/12....pure light/pure darkness?

I live in the.....Ssshhh....UK:blsmoke:

theoretically, with the proper amount of light, you can keep a plant growing vegetatively indefinitely, if that's what you're trying to accomplish.

however, if you are actually wanting to flower this plant, you need to provide it with pretty much absolute darkness. moonlight is ok, but shit like street lamps, etc. will cause unwanted results.

I don't want it to flower yet, just want to keep it growing until I'm ready to give it 12/12, and then flowering stage.
I also have a street light shining in at night!:blsmoke:

well if you want it to stay in the vegetative state, you need to provide it with supplemental lighting because it is not getting light long enough to keep it from flowering, unless you live in south america, south africa or australia

I live in the UK, The plant gets 7 hrs of sunlight....if the bloody sun decides to come out that is......does it need more?

And, at the moment, I'm using "Miracle-gro, pour an feed", once a month and watering Her with rainwater...
Anything else I can use? :blsmoke:

What proper lighting?
I had a grow room about a month ago with over 30 plants but had to take it all down. Am now down to 1 plant and I have to grow it like a normal pot plant, in case I get raided....In the UK, 2 plants and under, confiscated and wrist slapped! Can't take the chance as we have a Police canary out to get me!
So, back to the original Question...
Is there anything else I can do for it without showing that I'm a serious weed grower but, just a small time grower!

Just want to keep it growing until I'm ready again and the dust is settled, then I want to flower it at a later stage, in a indoor growroom.....again.
Many thanks....:blsmoke:

Why cant you use additional lighting? Even a few CFL's in the bathroom to lengthen the amount of light its receiving will be better than what you're giving her now. :-)

Dont take this the wrong way, as I did read above that you had to dismantle a 30 plant operation, but I would just assume that you might understand a little more about what you're doing if you had been involved with something as large as 30 plants...

Did you happen to hang onto any of the HID's? Basically all you need to do to keep your plant from flowering is get it onto an 18/6 or comparable schedule. If she starts to get too big, just start pruning her back as you would any house plant that's become too large.

You could even make a few bones, or do some charity giving with the cuttings.

Anyhow, good luck. Hopefully you figure something out to keep her from flowering.

Ok, just gone and bought some multipurpose liquid plant food, with trace elements.

It says it's NPK Fertiliser solution 8+8+8 containing with trace elements.
Total Nitrogen (N). 8.0%
Ammoniacal Nitrogen. 1.2%
Ureic Nitrogen. 5.5%
Phosphorous Pentoxide (P2O5), soluble in
water and ammonium citrate. 8.0% (3.48%P)
Potassium Oxide (K2O), soluble in water. 8.0% (6.64%K)

Trace elements...
Boron (B) soluble in water 0.010%
Copper (Cu), soluble in water 0.009%
Iron (Fe), soluble in water 0.034%
Manganese (Mn), soluble in water 0.018%
Molybdenum (Mo), soluble in water 0.001%
Zinc (Zn), soluble in water 0.018%

Low in chloride.

Now, it says 1 capful to 3 litres of water. I don't want to use it unless this is ok to use, anyone help? :peace:
