how long can i leave my baby's in Dixie cups for?

Depends what size cups, and how well they grow.
I had to repot mine from a 20 oz. solo cup at 21 days, but she was showing signs of crowded roots for almost a week before I did it.
Nutes depend on soil you are using.
I first fed at 25 days from sprout.
Give some details, and you'll get some suggestions.

You can't make room in the area where they are now to move into your next size pot?
They will probably survive, but they won't be as happy as they could be if you potted them properly.

Its called research. Guess what! It works! He double posted a layout thread so he obviously isn't prepared for growing. You don't plant a seed and then worry about the hows and whys.

I usually wait 8-12days after I've seem them sprout, by that time you might starting seeing roots out of the bottem of ur drain holes which means time to transplant.
Also don't use nutrients yet if there still in Dixie cups, wait intel they have their second set of true leafs or intel u see just the littlest bit of yellow in the leafs, this means a nutrient deficiency and they should bounce back after adding some all purpose 20-20-20
