How long after feeding would I expect to see signs of nutrient burn??

With my current plants (various stages of veg and flower, CFL perp grow), I have been really careful not to over feed, but now fins that I have signs of a couple of deficiencies, and despite feeding every 2 days due to the heat, they don't quite seem to be catching up in colour. I don't want to keep adding stronger feed every 2 days, and ruin my weeks of careful feeding, but I don't want my plants to struggle either.

In short If I add too much feed, how long before I should expect to see signs of nutrient burn? 24 hours? 48?

Also do the brown tips of the leaves from Potassium def ever return to green? Or do they just stop getting worse once the deficiency has been sorted?

Can anyone help me with this, pretty please :)

From what I've read before I seem to remember the general consensus being "a day or two" but can anyone give a little more detail??

pic 3 can't take the nutes and is in too small of a container, from looks in pic. pot-up to larger container, imo.

Thanks Scroglodyte, ...oh I just got the name, thinking about it that pic may have been from my last grow, but you mean they can't take up the nutes cos of toxity or water issues??

Also, I know the container is only a little 1.8 gallon container, but my plants are so small, it's nearly as big as they are, and thought that this would be plenty... this pic may give you a better idea of relative sizes

They are probably getting rootbound. I never use less than a 3 gallon pot. Nute burn sometimes takes up to 3 days to show up. Once leaves have turned brown or yellow, they do not change back. You must check for the deficiency in your new growth.

Thanks Cindy, just what a wanted to know. With the whole root-bound thing, my previous grow didn't get anywhere rootbound when I emptied at the end of the grow, but this was with different soil I think
