how late is too late to transplant?

I have three plants that started in cups, then were transplanted into what i believe are three 2-3 gallon pots. They have been vegging outside for 2 months now, is this too late into their lives to transplant to bigger pots? i have done a little reading and it seems like 5 gallons or more would help them get bigger/flower better.

I was also wondering if anyone else is growing outdoors and has input on when they may flip to flowering? I know that it varies from strain to strain but im sure it also depends on the sun cycle getting close to 12/12. Any thoughts are appreciated!

3 weeks into flower (ish) ur roots will for the most part stop growing anytime before then feel free to do so. Give em a drop of superthrive or some sort of vitamin b a day before and they'll never even know  :joint:
