How far should i keep my light?

I just germinated my seeds and am about to plant them, problem is i dont know how deep i should put the seeds. would 1/2" work?

and how far should i keep my florecent 40w bulb from the soil as i have just planted the seeds? after it starts growing?

as cloe as posible thee is little heat that come of so 2-4 inch from every leaf

cool,, ima transfer them outside when they get a little big anyway thanks!

o yeah when is it safe to transfer them?

1/2" deep in soil sounds just about right
