1000 ft as the crow flies.
As the crow flies = actual distance between 2 points and not the roads traveled to get there.

this is the only thing in SB420 regarding schools:
(b) In or within 1,000 feet of the grounds of a school, recreation center, or youth center, unless the medical use occurs within a residence.

Iike abm.said its 1000 feet from point a to point b straight line cut thru yards whatever and its from property line to property line. So if ur property line is 800 feet but ur grow is another 300 from the property line they still count it as 800 feet hope that helps.

Rhode Island (within 300 yards of the property of a specified school and 300 yards of a public park and playground).

It is if you are growing. Using and possession isn't the issue here as far as I understand.
please link me to one source that says u cant grow in ur own house in a school zone i asked a lawyer this question before as long as it is your primary residence its ok u cant rent a warehouse nest to a school and do a 50k grow

Yes this is true as long.as inclosed indoor grow with roof and no way to.c the grow and u can medicate in ur home also .I think the issue here is outdoor growing

I don't know the laws for outdoor but I have a couple buddies that grow less than 1000 feet from an elementary school for several years now they are also bout a quarter mile from the Sheriffs station and high school and not small grows last year 1 had 140 outside no problems with law enforcement as of yet but you never know . The other guy was visited and they asked why so many plants think he had 80 all in the ground told them he doesn't smoke just eats meddibles he got to harvest too. My county has no guidelines for outdoor that I could find
