How far away should 400hps be from seedlings

just popping some seeds, how far away should my 400hps be from seedlings?

I've used mh 400 for seedlings at about 5ft,if you can't get that high move it to the side.

Do u have any type of less stronger light?

i used mh for my seedlings. my tent if 6.5' tall and kept the light pulled up to the top, about 6' from the floor. after the plant had a few true nodes i moved it down to 18". it worked just fine.

thanks, i have a 7ft closet, with great ventilation........ill pull the big guy to the top

I veg with a 250 mh. I have my light about 12" away from the plant

Day 1 Day 7

I am going 22hours of light for another week then I will go 18/6. Oh I flower with a 400w hps I have 2 grow rooms. This girl is "Orange Crush"
