How far apart to space 1000w lights

3ft ...er, one light per plant. It depends on your grow style too

1000watt lights normal footprint is 5×5 grow area.

If youre gonna spend this amount of money to grow, I suggest learning the basics before spending your $$.

Yeah normally you should have 5X5 between all the lights you can get away with a 4x4 area if you have good air circulation. but by no means 3ft that is just wasted light

hang one, in your empty space, draw a line on where the beam cuts off, hang and match the other side to cross over about 1 inch over the line you put down.

this can be done in a "four square fashion as well"

he saying a 1100 watt covers a 5x5 (which it does not(4x4) but that you should hang them in 5x5 tiles in your grow space.

because the light would overlap each other giving the outside plants more light then the inside. plus if dont have air cooled hoods its going to get really hot

Hence why I said "your grow style;" implying that in your grow it might not work, but in mine, it works fine.

probably not, and even if it did why would you want to waste more power when you could use a 400-600w and get the same results if not better
