How does LST change the flowering period?

I've decided to use the LST technique for my next grow to maximize bud in a small area. My question is how will LST affect the length of the flowering period? Thanks

you are suposed to start lsting at a few weeks of veging, all it is doing is bending branches out of the way of new growth so you can get more budd sites. it shouldnt effect the flowering period at all.

Ok thanks. I was wondering because I was told it may take longer to flower if you LST. Maybe my source was invalid. Anyone else been told something similar?

It wont effect the time at all.
