How do you SPEED DRY??

I was told that I could test my pot by taking some of the bud and "Speed Dry" for a smoke test. What does mean Speed Dry?

I use a towel very very fast.

Oh - ! I don't buy speed that's wet.

<edit> Trouble with quickly drying cannabis will be very harsh smoke. Buzz ought to be good though. cn

Well....I wouldn't recommend doing this with too big of a nug....but when i would speed dry, i'd wrap a quarter to 50 cent piece size nug in a paper towel, turn the microwave on low power, and microwave for 5 seconds, then let sit for 15 seconds, then keep repeating until it was dry enough to smoke. Usually took about 20-30 runs. But DONT ever do it on high power or for longer than 10 seconds.

Sure it will be harsh, but I just want to test it. I tried the oven at 170 but not even smokable. Is there a trick to speed drying??

you want it to be as slow as possible.

put the oven on low (almost as low as it can go) this should take 2-3 hours.
1.5 if you cut up the bud first.

but the quickest quickdry i can recommend is put the weed ona radiator or something somewhat hotter than the room and wait till the next day.
time 1-2 days of drying.

and "recommend" well, even the slowest "quickdry" will kill quite a bit of potency and definetly will make it more harsh.

put paper towel piece into a tuppaware containor, put bud ontop of paper towel piece, put a damp paper towel on top of he Tupperware container so not to touch bud, put lid all the way on except a corner, then microwave one 40% power for a min, microwave on 40% for a min 5-10 times or untill bud is dry, make sure to check that the paper towl under bud isdry after each min of microwaving, if its not dry replace with a new dry piece of paper towel

I usually take a normal tube sock, flip it inside out, put a few of my little pop corn nugs in the bottom of the sock. Slip the sock on the end of a hair drying that has both a hot and cold setting. Set it on the Cool setting on low for about 3-4 minutes, flip it over to hot for about 2 minutes, then back to cool for 2 minutes and it should be nice and dry and smokable. It usually isn't even all that harsh this way, or I just have plants that aren't very harsh lol.
