How do you mix hydro nutes? questiuon

ok it may seem silly but how do you mix hydro nutes? What I am asking is this. If you are using 2 gallon buckets to grow in. Do you mix 2 gallons of nute mix or just 1 gallon of nute mix, then add just water to the fill line?

Mix your water and nutes in a separate container, adjust ph, then fill to line

Hello, So if I have a 2 gallon bucket. Do I mix 2 gallons of nutes or just mix 1 gallon and add 1 gallon of plain water?

Maybe this will be more helpful, not sure about these products, I haven't tried them myself, but they pretty much all mix about the same

While im not a hydro grower,ive heard that the waterline needs to be just below the level of the netpot or whatever it is you are using to keep the medium from waterlaogging,might be wrong but I hear that alot
