How do you know when to increase nutrient strength

I have a drip system (drip to waste) and am using General hydroponics flora 3 part series. I have two questions:

1. How do you know when to increase nutrient strength? I notice the plants stop growing when the nutrient strength is too low so I want to supply it enough nutrients but dont want to burn it by giving them too fast.

2. What is the max ppm I should use during veg? During bloom (again, using GH flora series drip to waste)?

I am using the GH Flora as well and have seen no major gains at the recommended doses, this time around I added 1/4 - 1/2 more then the feeding scedule suggests and have seen more vigor and faster growth with no burn. However my ladies are in a room around 90 deg with about 30% humidity and a 600 watt HPS - pretty warm I know, but its worked for me pretty well. If it were cooler maybe I would have seen the better results with the suggest doses. At least I know that I can go over the dose and not see any problems though. Just keep the ph between 5.5 and 6.5 and they should be fine. Hope this helps!

1. Experience or a grow chart.
2. 650-800 during veg and 1100-1300 for flower and you should be ok.

Plants stop growing for lots of reasons other than nutrient strength.
