how do you dry your cuttings (leaves) for hash

well i will be harvesting soon and i want to save the trimmings for hash but im not sure how to dry them found plenty of vids on drying bud none on trimmings......THANKS FOR ANY INFO
 
I take off all the fan leafs and toss them in the trash, then I cut her down one limb at a time and hang her over my cleaning tray and snip off all the sugar leafs and small (tiny) buds and then when all is done I take the tray down to the dry room, (closet) where the buds are hung to dry and set the tray on the floor. every day I go in and mix them around a bit.
 
Let them sit out they dry fast....... I like to use fresh green frozen leaf for my hash the trichs break off and the plant matter doesn't turn to dust that way

good info thanks guys i will let my leaves sit on a try in my dry closet what kind of screen is that looks cheaper than the bubble bags witch is what i plan on doing after i save up enough trimmings but if i dont got the cash that screen looks about right

If you are trimming Green (dried) Plants just put them on a hardware cloth or window screen and dry. Then put into the freezer. Keep frozen until you make hash. frozen trichomes will separate better from your trimmings. If this helps you please give me a + rep :bigjoint:

Spend the Cash on the Bags. They really work and you will get much better quality Hash
 
i put my trim in a cardboard shoebox, giv it a shake every day then when dry i freeze. dunno if this makes ne difference to just freezing it wet???
 
I just bought myself some bubble bags off ebay, $60 for a 8 bag set going down to a size 20mp

So if I’m reading this thread correctly, I cant use everything on the plant to make my mash? I thought I could use stems and big fan leaves and everything lol :wall:

I need to dry my mash and then freeze it until I’m ready.
 
I would wait until I am about to use material then freeze, and I would only use fan, sugar, and buds, never stem. I would be afraid of ripping bag.
 
The stems and fan leaves are useless. You only want leaves and buds (if using them) with trichomes, the crystal-like outgrowths.
