I have heard you soak it for 12 hours in 5.4ph water. I guess you just use ph up to raise it to 5.4. Will this put the ph of the rockwool at 7? Do you think you could use rainwater which has a ph of 5.6?
How do you correct the ph of Rockwool.

Never tested, never worried, never had issue 
I soak in 5.5-6, and then keep moist with 5.5-6, never had an issue or sign of ph imbalance.
