How do they look?

First grow, just looking for some opinions on how they look.The shiny/curled leaves were caused by having the metal halide to close. The 2 in the middle are about 7 weeks old but were in poor conditions till around 2-3 weeks. the other 3 bigger ones are about 2 weeks younger. They all seem to be growing pretty slow or maybe I'm just not patient enough. They're pretty bushy, but only about a foot tall. All 5 in 5 gallon pots have roots coming out the drain holes in the bottom, seems like they're growing down alot more then up!

Any opinions? Wondering if they're a decent size or are they small at there age? Is it normal for roots to be coming out the bottom of the 5 gallon pots when they're only a foot tall? Should I transplant to bigger pots?
