how do they look?

This is my first time growing, and wanted to know how everyone thought my babies were coming along. They are clones, i was told they were 6 1/2 - 7 weeks (not sure if the guy really knew). I've had them for 1 week tomorrow. I'm feeding them with the "Recipe for Success Starter Kit" from TECHNAFLORA PLANT PRODUCTS LTD.

If you notice in the pics, some of the leaves are a little crispy on the tips and slightly curling to the side. Also, some the leaves sides are curling up. I'm thinking that may be the ph and/or the temp.

I would really appreciate any advise, suggestions, help.

FYI:

Lights are 400w on a 250w ballast. 16on/8off.

Also, I see people clean the bottom portion of the stems. How do i know which leaves to tear off on the bottom? I don't want to tear the ones i need to keep. Any suggestions on this? And when do i do this? At certain interval times or just whenever i feel like it?

I figured i should just leave em, what do you think?
