Okay i have a problem. i am running out of space and my plant is growing fast but it is growing straight up instead of bushing outwards like i want. there is a separation of 2 inches between branches nd i want it to be growing about 1 inch apart. is there any easy way to stop it from growing so tall nd spaced out? Because my grow space is only about 2ft tall nd when it reaches the top i want too start the flowering process nd move it to my other box witch is 3 1/2 ft

pls comment nd help. any comments nd tips will help because this is my first grow nd i am using 3 2700k cfls on the 24/0 for my two plants.

you can top the plants, or tie the branches down.

weed stretches 2-4 times its height once you switch to 12/12. Sativas stretch 300-400% and indicas usually 200-300%.

If your final height of the light is 3-1/2 feet then you probably need to flower it at about 1-1/2 feet. Topping the plant will encourage bushiness. Top again for an even more dramatic bush.

you need 5-7k lights, and then they need to be about half a foot away from the canopy. a mixed spectrum will be even better for tight internode spacing.

also 20/4 will be better for the plant
