How do I recover from heat stress

I heat stressed my plants! The temperature was over 100 degrees for a while and some of the leaves were getting brittle, yellow on the edges and folding up.
This is my first grow and i skimped on fans. This has now been corrected and the temp is staying around a nice 78 to 80 degrees. My plants are about 3 weeks old.
My question is, will they recover on their own or is there something I can do to help, like misting them or something?
Thanks.

If the soil was not too dry they might survive...
For some reason, plants under 2-3 weeks [for me] can handle more than the recommended level. at above 85...
100 for how long...IDK...
If they survive 10 days, they will make it...
Good Luck

Nothing you can really do but correct the problem and pray to the ganja gods. I've had a few goofs like that before and never lost a plant. Stunted a few, but they lived.

Thanks guys. 100 for 18 hours a day for a couple of days. I caught it quick because i check them too much....the soil was good and its only a couple leaves on a couple of plants out of 6. I'll cross my fingers and hope for the best.

I had that happen when I went on vacation. My soil actually dried out too, and even then they recovered and perked up after a few hours.

Yeah, you'll be fine. Just for fun I checked the canopy temps of some young plants I shuffled inside/outside during late August last year. 102-105°F. There were breezes though. The plant is hardy and a couple of leaves are nothing. Heck, some people even cut leaves off and don't kill the plant. No worries. Got any pics?
