how do i get rid of perfume smell in bud

I ruined an entire zip of Northern Lights in the late 90s. It was dropped off to me unexpectedly as I was heading out so I tucked in top drawer of this phone table near the door.I forgot there was a bag of hand dipped incense in it I bought from Bread and Puppet a week before. Collosal f/u on my part. Now I'm sitting on a quarter of wedding cake that taste like freaking soap. Not sure if it wasn't flushed before harvest or what. Makes a black ash so I'm think maybe... how can I save it? I don't wanna toss a quarter but this shit taste bad. I couldn't get past 1 hit. Luckily wedding cake is a strong strain. It only takes a few.

Honestly have no idea. Maybe try a smell proof bag? (the charcoal ones) Leave the buds loose in there. Have many doubts, but maybe worth a try...
