how do i clone/hormone?

im told to make my seed sprew fast, i need a clone/hormone. how do i get one if i only have germinated seeds? using the 18/6 way also

wait till your plants are big enough to have a few lower branches coming off. these are what you can cut to make into clones...

but with the branhes what do i do with them? like put them in the ground lol? sry im lost
