I feel like I done good for my first time growing? I was rewarded with some beautiful fruits. Allow me to share a few pics!

Haha so this is pretty wild! I dunked my cakes last night after the first flush right? I take them out today to put them back into the SGFC and there fucking pins ALL OVER! Keep in mind, last night there was NO pins or growth, I took all the mushrooms off. I cant believe they grown in the water like that! This hobby is tooo awesome! Sooo fun, trip aside...I am learning ALOT about the life cycle of these beautiues and the trip, omg. I ate 27 fresh grams of smaller pins and was absolutely overwhelmed, I felt such a deep connection with the mushroom...I cant even explain the trip but it was FAR better than LSD in my opinion. One of my favorite mushrooms trips I had, unsure if its bc I grew them or if they were just potent, but wow. I have a new found respect for our fungi buddies.
 
It's always better when you grow em yourself. If you make the fungus happy, it will make you happy :bigjoint:

Oh man, I felt at some times during my trip when I closed my eyes the mushroom were scorning/teaching me bc I ate the small pins, I was basically "told" they were my second flush and to leave them alone next time, only take the big ones and dunk me....it was fucking CRAZY! Either way dude them little guys packed a punch! It makes me wonder if them little pins I picked were the second flush coming in behind the mature ones? I apologized and thanked the mushroom spirit and enjoyed the rest of my amazing trip, then woke up today to an all out explosion of pins on my cakes! Wooo....2014 has had an awesome start!
 
Yes, many times your second flush is waiting in the wings, either primordia or actual pins and you can see second growth within a day or so. It is ok though, you will get more, perhaps not as quickly as the mycelium has to refresh itself for the next flush.

Very interesting brother. Kinda like second flush on deck! If I see the second flush coming in behind the first, am I waiting too long to pick the maturing ones? I know once the spores drop the mycelium enters die back mode so I tried to let them get mature as possible but not drop their spores.
 
I'm happy for you but will never be persuaded in my love for LUCY.lol
I do love some shrooms,but sometimes they are a bummer...almost tripping and yawning all night isn't fun..
 
Most intense shroom trip I had was off 2gm of dried pin caps..very small ones I collected over a couple weeks when I had axcess to a lot of shrooms..one that were the size of this capitol 'I'...itty bitty ones...fucked me up royaly!!

DOOOD! What is up with them yawns!? Yes I LOVE Lucy as well, my goodness do I ever. Dont get me wrong, ol Lucy has helped me and shown me many things, but always within control. I never felt like I was literally losing my shit. However the trip I had last night was literally one of the most ego/earth shattering, in my face/mind trips I've had in a long while. I think alot of it has to do with the fact they were so fresh, I grew them and other factors.
