The only way to stop growth is to kill it.
You can slow the process down by placing the plants under a fluorescent fixture.

Alternatively, you can force flowering by inducing a 12/12 photoperiod.
This leads to budding, then harvesting. Expect crops to grow almost double over this period.

if you in veg you have major issue sif you are running out of room already. take clones from it and start over.

Fuck such horrible ways. I dont want to kill this beautiful plant. I think i might have to switch to flowering. Does anyone has a way to cool down the room. Thats my only reason why i dont want to flower yet, it is to hot out where i live, therefore the room gets a little too hot. I am looking for a home make device to cool down the room if anyone has an idea let me know.
I have heard of frozen water bottles but that failed

bend it, tie the top to a bamboo stick you stuck in the soil
should stop main shoot from growing but all others with continue to grow upwards as the flow of hormones changes

yeah, your in a mess. although you've probably adjusted by this point. switching to flowering will cause your plant to double in size from when you start, i'd recommend bending the hell out of it, use some strings to tie down branches and duct tape them to the pot, may even want to do some serious topping, but will want to wait a few days- a week before transitioning for future reference.

Top it. Thats what people do in low space environments. Or you can start by putting a stick next to it and getting a rubber band thats not too tight and band your plant to the stick so that it is slight "bow" shape. This will start growing your plant in an arc. Then slowly every few days, band it lower so it becomes more bowed until the top of your main cola will eventually face straight down. Alternatively you could use a wire and bend it into a "U" shape and prod the two ends of the "U" into your soil. Then you could slowly band the plant into the shape of the wire until your main cola will be upside down. Toppings the quickest. Id suggest putting tar on the top of your plant if stem if too large when you top it. This will seal up your plants to keep out infections and shock.

Bushmaster by humbolt slows down vertical growth by a LOT and promotes more of a bushy growth :-D Just please use it as it says on the bottle VERY ez to screw your crop up. Not hard to use it just less is better then more :).
