I need to know how much room I need to leave for roots. the max height for my few plants will be no bigger than 3 feet tall. any hints on how to maximize that short height will be useful. I just basically want to know how big the diameter of my pots should be so I know how many plants I can have at max height. thanks to everyone who helps me out here and who has helped me previously.

Not sure what you are asking. But to maximize yeild for short height, go to FAQS and look at the pruning techniques. FIM is a good one, and makes the plant really bushy, instead of tall. As for the pot, I would slowly work my way up, start with a small one, end with a 3-5 gallon one. Some people say 1 gallon for every foot your plant is tall. Just use that. But go to FAQS they have alot of information in there.
