How best to darken my basement windows?

I want to block any outside light from getting in.

Any suggestions?

put a a blind up and close it so it looks legit..then put tin foil over it

put dark dark dark tent, or even mirror tent. Then foil and blinds

get some panda film from the hydro store and staple it to the widow frame. that is what i did and it works perfectly.

Panda film works great just make sure you put the black side facing outside.

put wood on them to cover them,no light will get pass true guarante

Paint the windows black from the inside. You said it is basement windows, so they must be small and low down, I think painting it black first then a coat of white for the reflectivity in your room. Call me mad but that is what I would have done.

And put some bars or a grate over them from the inside. Safety first.

Go to home depot get the roll of plastic tarp in the paint section. Its like 60$ for 100 feet. You can't see shit through it. Get some velcro stick it along the window and the measure out the tarp. Cut it and stick the other velcro on it. Boom you're done

I don't need to have a reflective surface on the inside since I will be using grow tents.

dude plain n simple board it up its easy and no light will get in guarantee, its proved by medical growers from canada,and from my expirience during a hurricane lol

a little paint goes a long way.

and its cheap and easy.

but you can line it with foil and panda film and put bars up if you want... that will never give it away that your hiding something lol.....

I use a piece of drywall. Its white so it looks like a basement from far away.
