how bad is it if the photo period bounces around?

Ok so I have 2 plants growing right now under a 1000w hps and they have been flowering for a week now. Last night my timer messed up and I noticed it stayed on a total of 16 hours daylight.
Will my plants go back to veg?? Or will flowering continue as normal??

Make sure you fix that but they should be fine if it was just one day.
