plants lookin fine so far, early to say more
they are nice, dense as far as i can tell, that is great
...what i don't like is the milk canister you recycled as a flower pot, bit concerned about drainage and replanting to bigger pots later on...

i looked at it and i have to say that i'm not delighted by what i have seen, go wit a good air-cooled HPS/MH light or just an HPS and your are far better off i would say, that stuff smells to much like ripe off, it just won't smell right to me
would hate to see you burned buddy

Shows indica characteristics but still early.The milk container is a bad choice and as far as yield depends wwhat you have to work with after this part.Lighting wise you might get 7 or 8 grams if your lucky using those for flowering.The containers will be good for maybe a week then will have to be replaced with much bigger.The less transplants the less shock.The less shock more chance for female and better yields.

well is the question how big they are, normal one i know hold a can. gallon if i'm not of, not a big milk drinker myself, and that is too small, for flowering you should go with 3-5 in favor for your roots, they need the space
and it wasn't concerned about how clean they are, hey basically you fill them with dirt
it is more if excess water can drain from them well, if the got enough holes in the bottom, that was what i was about, okay to prevent root rot, you know

i'm a bit puzzled about the "bow", but fans are a damn good investment! they help a lot with getting our plants a strong stem and enough CO2 & O2 to grow with
if the "bow" is your floro sys on the pic it is not a waste of money
light never harms as long it won't burn anything

Not sure what a grow bow is but timer is like 5 bucks fan about 8 bucks a used 400 hps on ebay is about 60-80 shipped.Thats what Id have done.Pots at a local nursery about a buck maybe 2 for 3-5 gallon .

You can shock a female plant into hernie state.maybe you are lucky. I have been able to(not on purpose) get clones from 3 year old female moms to turn hermie through heat stress and transplant shock.Its also been talked about several times in High times but isnt that hard.

well cannabis is one of the toughest plants i know, they can take brutal abuse really, so to shock a plant into losing it sex, well job well done bro

It doesnt loose its sex.Hermies are made by the natural recessive gene in a plant being forced to activate.The plant gets so stressed it thinks it may die before its life purpose or reproduceing.Weed I have found is not as rugged as some say it is.A good strain seems to always bee little more fragile then some run of the mill mexican red hair.The plants I have had hermie a few times usually involved power failures while gone and pumps shutting down and heat getting to 100 plus.You can nurse them back but it has the adverse effect of possible hermaphiditing them.You can also do this if you root bind a plant to long and it starts to start from salt build up.It again can activate a recessive gene in a strain to try and reproduce its self.Hermies are a freak of nature not really that similar to humanes who are born showing both but plants hold the recessive gene in the dna and rna through development and refinment it gets more and more recessed but exists within as a possibility.I have a few extra clones from my female moms that have been from female moms at least 10 years back.If I get time Ill vegg the extras some and see if I can force them via heat and moisture reduction and post the hermied results for fun.
