hey guys i have had a fire plant growing in my window for about two months now and its my first plant am i doing ok?

ok so i just put my plant in to a bigger pot and added some miracle grow all purpose fertilizer to it because the bottom leaves were turning yellow and dieing off is this ok for my plant

It looks like you will be OK removing any of those dead or yellow leaves on the bottom, but leave the one BIg yellow leaf growing out of the top alone!!! ................and use less ferts.
