How am I doing? 1'st grow, Og Kush

I have a single plant going right now, straight from seed. It has been 31 days since it was planted. It is an Og Kush seed from dna genetics, I just want to know if she is looking how she should be at this point. I have been using 20-20-20 nutes since week 2, and water when the soil is dry. She is under 2 150 watt hps with ballast, she was under only 1 light but I thought she would love the increase so went and bought the second.

looks very good for 30 days, lighting has alot to do with it, read stickies on lst (low stress training ) topping and super cropping. will be able to use all methods for max production

I was doing my research and I did the topping method and a slight lst. My stem is very thick and I was scared to break it, do you think i would get a decent yeild if I flowered her at this point?

Nice looking, just curious, instead of buying a second HPS, why not buy and MH? you'd get a higher yield with MH.

I was not aware that I could increase my yield with a mh bulb. Worth a shot on my next grow, thanks.

Im still very noobish when it comes to growing, I honestly have no idea how to clone. I was thinking of throwing her into flower soon actually. Seeing as this is my first grow I just want to make sure I can handle the one plant and get it right. Do you think I would have a decent yeild if I flowered her at this stage?

I recommend you take clones, it's very easy to do. Yield is a hard one to answer at this stage, how much do you want?

reasonable/achievable I guess. OG Kush is known as a less than average yielder yet outstanding quality. I do OG Kush x Critical Mass (Critical Kush).

Take cuttings/clones, veg them till 6-12", flower a couple. This will tell you the sex of your plant and allow you to grow multiple clones from the mother plant - intead of one plant at a time, you can grow as many as you cut. Trust me, cloning is the way to go and is very easy to learn through YouTube and patience while your cuttings take root.

Thanks for the help guys, I will definatley persue taking clones. I watched a few videos already, seems fairly easy. I guess I just need some cloning powder and to make a cloning tray?

All you need is some " root hormone " and a tray with dome, you can get that at any garden supply store, a heating matte would also help if you can afford one.

if its the dna og18, its fem only from seed. if its seeds from dna og18 buds its most likely fem as well unless a male pollinated it.
