Absolutely, you'd probably get more prison time stealing electricity than you would grow a few plants. Not worth it.

If I remember right, this is what you do:
1) Get in your car and drive to the local police department
2) walk in and tell them you are growing pot, AND Stealing electricity.
3) Invite them all to come see your grow op
4) Buy some KY Jelly on your way to jail.

If it was an easy procedure you could probably get away with it if you only bypassed the meter for half the month or something. The meter person comes the same time every month so as long as know one sees you doing it and you keep your total each month normal then i bet it could work. If you dont know how to then go to an electricians message board and tell them you think your ex-wife and her husband are stealing elec and ask them how you could tell for sure so you can bust them. I think you would have to have a huge setup to even consider it though. Like if youre running more then 10k.
