Depends do you know what’s in your water? I have well water 200ppm and I know there’s calcium and magnesium an a little iron

Well all i have is the water quality report from my water provider

and they state
TDS: avg 267ppm , range 157-520ppm
bicarbonate, avg 176ppm, range 142-243ppm
calcium: avg 40ppm, range 2.4-104ppm
mag: avg 8.8ppm, range 0-32ppm
most the other minerals are negligable
calcium and bicarbonate are mostly whats in the water

so yeah i really don't know for sure whats in my water but maybe i could make some educated guesses

when i test my tap with a ppm meter its high 140s
