66 days...

i managed to plant 5 healthy plants in some DWC 5g buckets, the 3 that slowed or stunted were transferred to soil (i hope they live) i plan to grow them out during the summer. there are some little buds showing, could they be flowers?

the little guy on the left suffered a broken main stem. i had a rubber "collar" around the stem to block out light, well the stem out grew the rubber and i hadn't noticed, it snapped in half while i was transplanting. seems to be healing well.

these are the buds i was talking about, i think it may be the beggining of a flower. of course its not as exciting as this bud.

some g13haze thats keeping the peppers comany. well thats all for this week.

day 74

this guy needs support, i had a black rubber "disk" around the stem used to block light from the rockwool, i forgot about it and just cut it off, it was constricting the stem, sucks gonna be stunted for a while.

poor guys are struggling, ph got outta wack a bit, replenished the res, with GH Gro,micro, bloom at 15ml-10ml-15ml ph'd to 6.2ish one of my buckets were at 8.0 when i checked em. most were at 6.8ish though.

deffinetly starting to see some pre-flower buds. they are starting to branch off now, the top just split into a "Y" each branch has now "Y"d off again. i have took a cut off one and tried to clone it, we'll see what happens.

thelittle guy on the front right is stunted from the same "stem constricting disk" shit the big guy in the back left is my healthiest looking one

the leaves are soo glossy!

the 3 i got in soil are still alive though very stunted, got no pics i got some ghetto ass mylar curtain in front of it-and about 35 other plants for the garden.
some super giant pumpkin, giant corn from peru grows 18-30 ft, a kumquat tree? tomatoes, herbs, ganja, hot peppers...

running outta space can't wait for this weather to brake and get some sunshine.

no kidding about HPS and a decent pic LOL

looking amazing my man
Thank you. So I got a few flowers now atleast a dozen are open though very small. I don't know how big they get or what but I do plan on picking up a soft haired paint brush and trying to pollinate them today. Ill try to get some good pics of these tiny flowers so we know what were working with here. Don't be afraid to send some advice my way cause I am diving into the unknown here

naga jolokia? never heard of it. i thought the ghost chilli was the hottest? also it is easy to make pepper spray with a couple hot peppers, the hard part is getting your extracts put into an aerosol propellant. if you find out how to , let me know . :)
They sell refillable paint sprayers with a glass reservoir that would probably work. Home depot has em.

haha, thats a great idea! its too bad you wont get to see a reaction. this is day 86 and 2 of my 4 left living in hydro are flowering like crazy they probably have about 25-30 flowers and more to open. what i have been doing to polinate them is, taking a small art paintbrush dipping it in luke warm water and fondel the center of the little flowers. they are bettween 1/4" to 1/2" in diameter and are yellow in color. i have 3 left living in soil but they are severly stunted, i will plant them in the garden this summer and hope for the best. i also tried cloning 2 branches, one of my plants is rather branchy with little leaves so im gonna use it as a mother to get a few more going. cloned them the Al B method in rockwool, used some powdered rooting hormone, and stuck them in a clear rubber maid tote

I got my seeds yesterday and started to germinate them today. We will see how long and out of 10 how many will pop.

insoim if they are anything like tomatoes the pollen doesn't like water its best to just tap on the branch to get the pollen air born and it does its own thing after

Those are probably gonna be awesome. I have a Jalapeno pepper in my grow room. It's probably 1 year old and it has several peppers on it right now. For some reason the peppers are not as hot as when grown outdoor - these are very like sweet peppers. I harvest a lot of peppes on it though.

i hear they need to be stressed to produce a hotter pepper. if your in soil they need hot temps and occasionally run dry.
what do you do to pollinate the flowers?

well i took the advice from another grower on some hot chille comunity site. dont remember where. but i will try this method too, can't really go wrong.

where did you get your seeds? all 12 popped for me, but you gotta keep them warm while they germinate, took 10 days for me at 85 degrees or so. i hear it can take up to a month. are you doing soil or hydro?

I never did anything but put a seed from a Jalapeno pepper into rockwool and put the plant into the flowering room on 12/12. The plant is very lush and lots of chilis. Maybe i'll try and stress it if anybody can confirm this is necessary to make chilis hot? I don't do anything to pollinate - maybe the fan does it.

i need to clean up the grow room and move thigns around so i can put a fan on them. its a bit packed in there with getting stuff ready for the garden. plus i just harvested 2x g13haze and 4x northern lights, and i got 2 of each way overdue for 12/12 - round 2. so my little 8x10 room is jam packed now. kinda poorly organized, bleh summer time will be a good time to re-organize while the girls are growin outside

so im pretty sure you mean a pepper spray as an organic insecticide right? thats easy enough with some pulverized pepper and a surfactant...

but if you want to weaponize it ill give you the recipe a few of my home boys with felony charges use instead of firearms....

have fun with those you will find out soon enough the stimulant categorization if capsaicin is no joke that shit will get you going ;)
