is some purpling on the stems natural or is that like phosphorous deficiency from too high of a PH?

is worse on my jalapenos but is also on my new mexico 'big jims'

do not feed peppers they are an opportunistic planet , birds crap out the seeds in the worst places and yet they survive they don't mind being in good soil look at her

Bump! How did these work out? My Ghost Peppers, Bolivian Rainbows, and Chocolate Habanero seeds are on their way! I'm going to try to do 6x 5-gal buckets under 400w HPS.

I hope you wash your hands well after touching those!
No shit with this!

I tore open a couple Cayenne peppers to dry them for seeds one time and came in and packed a bowl, my nose itched so I scratched it, completely forgetting about the peppers, and sat there for half an hour wondering what the fuck was in my weed to make my entire face burn so much!?

My peppers are still kicking ass!

8)

And yeah padwan once I went to use the bathroom, after I washed my hands with soap a few mins.... even that wasn't enough!

Man, my crotch kept itching, and itching, and itching... then it started burning, and burning and burning.

It took a few hours to cool down! Damn!

Now I just dont fuck around anymore  just like the first time you get contact highs from LSD.... never again will you make that mistake on purpose

Does anyone know if there is an official authority to test peppers for their Scoville rating? I've had my Bhut jolokia seeds germinating for a few days now and I'm wondering how I'll be able to estimate their capsaicin content upon harvesting in a few months. If anyone has any advice on growing peppers (HOT, sweet, and all in between), indoors under HPS lighting, I'd sure appreciate it. Best of luck, fellow pepper freaks!

Go big or go home. I hope to get lots of peppers to make hot sauce and hopefully have a few left over to prank my friends. I also want to try and make pepper spray with an oil extract.

I guess I will start a grow log for anyone who cares. i would like to keep them all on the front page but my last attempt at a grow log stopped letting me edit it after about the 7th day.

This Is log day 1 (from seed about 2 weeks) These peppers took a long time to come up
