Go big or go home. I hope to get lots of peppers to make hot sauce and hopefully have a few left over to prank my friends. I also want to try and make pepper spray with an oil extract.

I guess I will start a grow log for anyone who cares. i would like to keep them all on the front page but my last attempt at a grow log stopped letting me edit it after about the 7th day.

This Is log day 1 (from seed about 2 weeks) These peppers took a long time to come up

Awesome!

I'm a chili/pepper addict so I'm really interested in how this turns out for you.

And home made pepper spray? Badass!

At best, you'll make a hot pepper sauce with those. They are incredibly lava-level hot and salsa would burn your face off. Subbed for some pranks ;)

Nagas are no longer the hottest peppers in the world, theres a new pepper called the infinity pepper and is pushing 2 million scovils

Well this is the third day from sprout. not much change but you can see the new leafs forming. the roots have gone thru the Rockwool so its almost time to put them in the system. today I sprayed them with 1/4 strength dyan-gro veg. This is the first time they have gotten nutes. it will most likely take 3-4 more days for the roots to be established enough to transplant into the system. I have washed my used hydroton with peroxide to help remove old salt buildups. the humidity domes also got an upgrade. I placed some medium in the bottom for the roots to grow into. otherwise the roots would be smashed against the plastic and grow back up into the rock wool. we don't want that here we want the roots to grow long not bushy.

naga jolokia? never heard of it. i thought the ghost chilli was the hottest? also it is easy to make pepper spray with a couple hot peppers, the hard part is getting your extracts put into an aerosol propellant. if you find out how to , let me know . :)

The infinity chilli is indeed real, but they only tested one batch so the scoville isnt 100% true..

In my opinion nothing beats the Naga and ive grown several plants in hydro under a 150watt CFL, i had around 200 chillis of a plant..

Post some pics, keep us updated!

Good luck!

shit, peppers take long to germinate, my sweet pepper seeds have been in god knows how long, and they only just sprouted.
Anybody know how long they are supposed to live? My previous pepper fruited for two summers, but is looking next to dead now.

you should check out a product Pampered Chef offers, you can put any liquid you like in it and pressurize it. I used to have one, it worked well and held pressure for a long time.

You can make some money with those I know at the markets around here they sell for about $25 a gram I almost fell out when I seen that price and people was in line to buy some.

Edit also to clear things up naga jolokia is the real name for the ghost chilli

Prank your friends - seriously????

You know you can put someone in the hospital like that. And making pepper spray is a felony in my state and probably your's too.
