Hooking up Multiple Fans

Would I need multiple 12v adapters, so each fan gets its own?

Could I use a 9v battery for each fan?

If you hook up multiple fans to ONE 12v dc adapted does it divide it the total volts up between the fans or does it divide the total amperage?

Or can I just use one power supply that hooks up to all fans??

I personally only have a intake and exhaust fan hooked up but they are both running off my 12 volt line in...i just connected the first one normally and than stripped the wires and ran my second one into them also

in parallel, the voltage in the circuit is the same everywhere

what your gonna wanna do is take your charger, lets say your charger cord is this right here

top being positive or negative doesnt really matter, split the wire apart and put the fans in between the two wires, one wire connecting to the top wire, and one wire connecting to the bottom wire...

dont worry about hooking it up backwards because DC motors will just run the other direction

they should both draw the same current.the same as when you use a double addpter in the mains socket.they draw the same current
