Up until my current grow i have been using rectangular sun system reflector hoods. For this grow I switched to the vertizontal hood(not sure of manufacturer). The Vertizontal is octagon shaped and is 4 feet wide. Even though it is slightly more expensive($150) than other hoods, I wanted to let other growers know that compared to all the other hoods I have used, the vertizontal is 10000% better. It runs extremely cool compared to other hoods. So cool, you can handle it bare handed while its on. also, the light footprint is huge for a single light. I can fit 25 5 gallon pots under it without any loss of growth rate along the outer rows. If anyone knows of any better hoods than the vertizontal please let me know.
