thanks for the advice stoney! that's where they are right now, chillin in the jars. i've stopped burping them now, and only open them when it's time to fill up the vape whip

hey kolz, i tried to keep the lights about 2 inches from the canopy. i didn't have reflectors -- just a glossy white piece of cardboard that kept all the cfl's at the same height. besides the cfl's i also had two 24-w T5s, which did have their own reflectors, and i kept those about 1 to 2 inches from the canopy.

very nice update Homer!!!!! ya know if they start to get to dry, put some in a smaller jar, and when you want to vape take some out of the smaller jar... then you are not opening the big jar as often. but if you are not opening it every couple days you will be fine the way you have it.

Amnesia Haze, a photo journal...I like it. Sory I've been MIA lately, a lot of stuff going on with work and life at the moment, but I'm definately still around!

what the ol' box is up to these days...

i call it tomato 2.0 because it's a clone off of an enormous mother plant i inadvertently raised from seed. the mother, who stood 6 feet tall (under 4 cfls) and produced two (2) delicious steak tomatoes, is sadly no longer with us, but i kept one of her clones.

here she is in early bloom, in the cd-inspired uhaul box, running 6 cfls and 2 t5s, secured in her dt hat...





got my temps in check



gotta do something with my time, right?

cd, it is good bud, but the smell is not the best. right now i'm toasted on a combination of a potent chocolate edible plus some smoked orange velvet o.g. (which smells incredible!!!) and i'm wasted!

just like you, i to like growing things..... even if it can't be buds! plus it keeps your game up. I love tomatoes, i mostly grow and eat grape tomatoes. When you start the cannabis again, are you gonna grow it in the uhaul box?

hey friends, i know this isn't a tomato growing thread (and there's a time and place for that, lol), i need to get my gardening photography urges out somehow, so here goes...

the uhaul is still hauling along, although i don't know how much longer it'll hold up. for my next "real" grow (in a couple months), i'm thinking of going with something more solid and more hermetically sealable... also might upgrade to l.e.d. if the right deal comes along. was talking with meta about using my window to exhaust air out. this would practically solve the odor issue, but then the trick would be how to still have a stealthy looking (and sounding) setup if the box is going to be in plain view instead of in the closet. need to get the design part of my brain started again.

anyway, for all you tomato non-haters, here are some new pics, about a month after the previous ones... you'll see how now there are actual tomatoes there... success! also the canopy has filled out the dollar tree hat very nicely. i've been using just the hat and some wire for lst, and doing some trimming. i think in about a month, i will be eating that bigger tomato as part of a steak sandwich.

haha, thanks stoneybro. my lady and i just ate that first big tomato a couple days ago. man it was dank... i mean delicious. heirloom all the way. totally not cost effective by the way, but it doesn't matter. it's awesome being able to eat our own fruits produced within the confines of a closet, a dt hat, and some cfl bulbs.

thanks dude . i'm gonna get on it as soon as i can. have you smoked through your amnesia haze yet? i'm still slowly going through mine. it's a good smoke, but not quite as good as i've tried from the dispensaries. i learned my lesson though: don't over nute, especially in the last 2 weeks!

glad you asked, meta. those peppers are coming along quite nicely. might even post a couple pics later on. my trip was good, and i'm back, but not ready to grow any dankity dank just yet, unfortunately. gotta get other shit in order first, you know how it goes. but i will be checking in more often, hate to be out of the loop!!

i did smoke a good bit of the amnesia haze. reminds me of super silver haze by mr.nice, but a bit more pine-y. very nice and strong smoke. yeah, i dont feed mine the last month or so, except for a bit of molasses and a drop or two of big bloom by fox farm.
ill smoke a bowl for you, mate.

nothing weed related to report (except i just smoked a bowl of some "yumboldt" and it's pretty nice......), but here is an update on the box. the minipeppers are starting to turn colors:




it's so cool how they go from being green for 2+ months, and then within literally one day, they turn bright red, or orange, or yellow. crazy world we live in.

Dude! Are those the same peppers I saw when I was up there? They were tiny! Now they look so nice! It's amazing, bro, you truely have a green thumb...Very nice...I hope the job search is going well, and I hope you try to make some more time for us every now and then...lol...But really, it's great to see your pepper plants doing so well, keeping the grow box warm till it's danky time again...I hope you guys are having a wonderful summer!
