homemade grow closet all finished

on top of this cabinet im going to build a somewhat soundprof box to house fan, ballast, and all the controls for the grow below.
the white vent on side has filters in it to work as a passive intake but keep dust smoke BUGS OUT!

ALSO as you can see in pictures i have a 6 inch duct reducer that will connect to light then to fan on right side and carbon filter on other side all this will be done in cabinet above with ducting goin to the lower chamber and connecting back to carbon filter the reason i did this is well there two one i didnt relize how much room all this stuff was gunna take up in grow area and the other reason is to keep it somewaht quieter

i used many corner braces to make sure it was sturdy



the stuff that i bought is
a 400w digital green house ballast
6 inch air cooled euro reflector
hi lo sunrise hangers
fan controller
temp hydro meter
duct reducers
mylar
and crhome duct tape
4 in grow bright fan and carbon filter
passive intak vent with filters

all for about $600
not including plywood to build cabinet

looks good buddy. i considered going the diy route myself( i am tradesman and so is my brother) but i thought what the hell and just went and bought a grow tent package, it took 30mins to build and came with almost every thing i needed. think it would be around $500( it was £300).

i was going to buy a tent but imo it sticks out more then a wooden chest i can pass of as TOOL CHEST i couldnt really say that to anyonr if it was a tent thats one of the reason i went the diy self way also i like the idea of being able to build it to my needs and wants ya kno lol i cant wait to connect ducting tommorw and give her a test run!!

i have a question.... what is th best way that you do it yourselfers light proof doors i have it light prof everywhere else just wondering if weather strpping is really the best way for the doors also i had caulked all joing edges to make them light proof

i use a blue blanket. people say it has to be 100% dark but if u remember that big white lookin things called the moon gives off light. so a lil bit of light wont hert, never hert mine. i use the blanket for more then just coverin my door from light, aka keeps heat in fo me .
