homemade bong cleaning liquid?

hey whats up all, i was just wondering if there is a cheap/easy and effective way of cleaning your bong at home without needing to buy any of the overpriced liquids? cheers

alcohol and salt will work on glass. I use crushed walnut shell myself. the salt will scratch the glass over time. Don't use it on plastic.

cheers bro, sounds good, got any recipies for acrylic bongs? i have a glass one but id like to clean my plastic one too

wish I did. I fragged mine with alcohol. I'll look around and try to find something.

Acrylic Ive never been able to get perfectly clean but I use to use boiling water to clean out what i could. But now ive moved onto glass so its all about the 99% iso and kosher salt.

Halite (Sodium Chloride) is a soft mineral, softer than your fingernail.
It will never scratch glass.

All u really need is isoproply alchol(rubbing alchol) i jus picked up some today n it cleaned my bong better than any mainstream cleaning solution ive ever bought try to find one thats atleast 90% or more jus bc it will clean easier also run some really hot water through or over ur piece so u can soften up the build up of resin n crAp no salt really necessary i found some rubbing alchol in walgreens thats 91% n it worked like a charm.
