Has anybody bought their CFL's from Home Depot? And if so, were they 6500's for veg?
I am wanting to start a PC cab. grow, but looking online, all the CFL's I see listed are 2700 or below.
I hear these will work for veg., but the 6500's are better.

Finding 6500k is not easy. The best you will probably do is 5000k. I'm using a few in a makeshift veg cab, and I don't see a big difference, growth wise, between 6500k and 5000k.

Thanks man, I had zero luck on the Depot site, but there seems to be quite a few at Lowe's when I changed store location.
That's cool to know about the 5000 bulbs though.

If you have a menards, try there. got all my cfl's from there. 6500K and 2700K.

these are nice big 105w true wattage and 6500k daylight spectrum

these are big though, think football size
was told they put out around 7500 lum
AND CHEAP!!
