Home brew cO2 help?

Rocafellasheads and I are currently growing 4 white rhino plants. We've looked into various co2 setups. Since this is our first grow we opted not to purchase the regulator/tank at this time.

We've wanted to go the cheap route. So we went to the store and purchased a 3 gallon water jug. We also purchased a cheap air pump with a large airstone.

Now have one tube leading from the pump into the solution. and another hose suspended from the top leading out to our babies. The line out is NOT submerged. Our problem was the lack of knowledge about how to prepare the mix.

The solution is about 1.7 gallons of water mixed with 1 pack fleishman's active yeast and 4 cups sugar. Since we don't really have any scientific background, we are unsure how to create the perfect blend.

Can someone help us? Pics to follow later tonight.

We just took photos of our setup as Spiro mentioned above.

Let us know if you think it will be efficient.

You don't need the pump, or any tubing. Just water, sugar, and yeast in the jug with a piece of cheesecloth on top will emit CO2.

How are you ventilating heat from your lights without displacing all the CO2? Is your grow in an enclosed space to trap the CO2, or is that the corner of a larger room?
