Holes in leaves, looks like they are being eaten

2nd week of flower and there has been something eating the leaves. Tips of leaves are gone and there are holes in others. I have looked everywhere on the plant with a magnifying glass, under the leaves, near stems, but cannot find any traces of bugs. Does anyone know what will cause this problem? More leaves are being devoured everyday. I used neem oil, but that doesn't seem to be doing anything. 20130103_214444.jpg20130103_214353.jpgPlease help!!

Leaf eaters would be noticable, and you wouldn't need a magnifying glass. Mites start looking like dead spots everywhere because they only consume a very small radius. looks like polka dots a millimeter or less in diameter.

I had very similar issues, and i still see it on some growth, but it's mostly gone. It came from over nuting nitrogen, You would be able to tell if you are having the same issue by checking the leaf color around it. if the rest of the leaves are a lush green and some come out deformed and patchy it's a sign you might be giving it too much nitrogen. It could also have been damage to the leaves as they emerged, much smaller, when they grow out and flatten small damage becomes larger damage as they stretch. Mostly check to see if it's happening to new growth.

Nitrogen OD'ing also creates mutations where some leaves will twist and contort. Look to see if you have signs of mutated leaves.

Catapillars, check the plants stems with a light and pull them off , use a chemical spray on the leaves if needed.

The leaves were whole then the tips slowly started to disappear and the holes began to emerge. It is happening to new leaves as well as old ones.

How big would they be? I have combed under the leaves and stems but see no signs of anything. What would you recommend to use to kill them?

It's not from an insect. Its from condensation collecting where leaves overlap then if the plant gets moved, the beaded condesation is exposed to HID light and acts like a magnifying glass. It literaly burns the leaves then as the leaf grows firther you get holes. If its happening to the tips then you have condensation collecting on the tips probably when the lights are off and then when the lights comeon the same thing happens.

Interesting. It would be great if it wasn't insects. The humidity is 30%. I ill check for condensation when they first wake up. Thanks.
